These savory Pizza Roses are a fun, romantic twist on classic pizza—rolled into beautiful rose shapes and baked in a muffin tin, perfect for Valentine’s Day appetizers or parties.
1 roll refrigerated pizza dough
½ cup pizza sauce
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz pepperoni slices (24–30 slices)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Non-stick cooking spray
Optional substitutions:
Bell peppers or tomatoes for vegetarian option
Plant-based cheese for dairy-free
Crushed red pepper flakes or minced garlic for extra flavor
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Roll pizza dough into a 12×14-inch rectangle and cut into 12 equal strips.
3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each strip and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
4. Arrange pepperoni slices along one edge of each strip, slightly overlapping.
5. Fold the bottom half of the dough over the filling and roll into a rose shape.
6. Place each rose into the muffin tin, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
8. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin.
Chilling the dough briefly can make it easier to handle if it becomes elastic.
Position pepperoni so it peeks above the dough edge for a realistic rose look.
Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
